Two floats were deployed from the R/V Atlantic Explorer as part of the Bermuda Atlantic Time-series Study (BATS) expedition from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). BATS monitoring started in 1988 and continues today, providing researchers with important information.
