Four GO-BGC floats were deployed during the Galapagos Transit expedition from San Diego, California to the Galapagos Islands, Equador aboard the R/V Sally Ride. Floats deployed during the expedition were adopted by schools in Louisiana and Washington. Check out all adopted floats on the Adopt-a-Float data table, photos of floats can be found on our Flickr page.
Floats deployed for this expedition were Navis floats. Float status including number of completed profiles to date is available in the Float Status Table.
