Five GO-BGC floats were deployed during the Kodiak Levin expedition from San Diego, California to Kodiak, Alaska aboard the R/V Atlantis. Floats deployed from the Atlantis expedition were adopted by schools in New York, Oklahoma, and Texas. Floats deployed for this expedition were SOLO 2’s a newer float for the GO-BGC program. Float status including number of completed profiles to date is available in the Float Status Table.
