The name references the high school dual enrolled students, the FAU Climate READY Ambassadors. The READY stands for Resilience Education and Action for Dedicated Youth, and the program has been made possible by the NOAA Education Literacy Program (ELP) grant (Funded by NOAA-SEC-OED-2020-2006190) over a 3-year period. These students are taking classes with FAU Pine Jog Environmental Education Center led by PI Ray Coleman and CO-PI Dr. Rachel Wellman. Dr. Wellman is also currently the Program Coordinator.

Sadly, this was the last float deployed on the first leg of the cruise. The goal was to deploy 4 BGC-Argo floats on this leg, but, due to some technical difficulties with the ship, we were not able to complete the last few stations and deploy the fourth float on this leg. Thankfully, Leg 2 will start science where we left off and deploy the next float on that leg!
